Michelin ran a cashback promotion using QPay branded cards. Qualifying tyre purchases resulted in cashback being loaded to prepaid cards and dispatched direct to cardholders for activation and spend.
In store multi-packs contained a code inside the sleeve. Code entered online to if it was a winner. Winners entered their details and were sent a Prepaid card to the value of their prize.
Consumer Rewards, Sales Promotion
Diet Coke offered consumers the chance to win cinema tickets via 44 million promotional packs over a 2-month period. Winning packs were sent a code to print out and exchanged for free entry to the cinema. The ticket was a virtual prepaid card with a PAN and expiry date.
Charity Grant Disbursement
Recipients could apply for an initial grant of £300 and then another up to a maximum of £2,500. Young people were invited to come up with ideas to improve their community and apply for a grant which, if approved was paid to a QPay branded prepaid card. Funds were provided by O2 who ran the project via the National Youth Agency.
Trade Reward Scheme
Tobacco retailers earn points for tobacco merchandising and sales. Sales reps attend stores on a monthly basis and points accrued are converted to payments onto JTI branded prepaid cards. JTI utilise the QPay API suite to add new cardholders and make load payments to cards, and for cardholders to view balance and transaction information on JTI’s own client facing website.
